The Science of…Aliens Advertising Competition

January 13, 2010

Science of...Aliens BadvertisingAliens (and the science behind them) are landing at the San Diego Air & Space Museum on 1 February 2010 as part of our new special exhibition The Science of…Aliens. As a SDASM Insider only competition, the Museum is asking Photoshop/GIMP/Fireworks/image editing gurus to create a Science of…Aliens themed advertisement. You can see an (outlandish) example in the photo to the right created by the museum staff.

Once all the entries are submitted, the top ten photos (as selected by the Museum staff) will be posted online for the voting phase of the competition. At the end of the voting phase, the image with the highest number of votes will be the winner.

If your advertisement wins it could be used in the Museum’s The Science of…Aliens advertising campaign. Below is more information on rules and how to submit your entry.

Good Luck!

  • Image Size must be large enough to print on a 8.5×11 sheet of paper
  • Image Design must include the wording “The Science of…Aliens” and wording to note that the exhibition is located at the “San Diego Air & Space Museum”
  • Image Design must be family oriented (no nudity, violence, etc.)
  • Competition is open to image editing gurus of all ages
