2010 Regional Youth Aviation Art Competition Winners

March 1, 2010

Last week, the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority, World Trade Center San Diego, and the Museum presented awards to the 2010 Regional Youth Aviation Art Competition’s nine winners. This year’s theme, Aviation in the Global Marketplace, challenged young artists to imagine how they would use their own airplane to connect people, places, and things from around the world. How would they use their airplanes to change the world? Each one of the winning entries was chosen for its creative expression of this year’s theme as it relates to aviation.

In addition to the prizes each winner received, the artwork will be exhibited on San Diego International Airport’s Youth Art Wall, located in Terminal 2 East pre-security, from March 2010 through June 2010.
